The adoption of the technical regulation on energy efficiency will be postponed again
The EEC submitted a draft on changing the timing of the entry into force of the technical regulation “On the requirements for the energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices” (TR EAEU 048/2019). It is proposed to postpone the start date of the technical regulation from September 1, 2022 to September 1, 2023. It is also proposed to postpone the entry into force of certain requirements of the technical regulations by 1 year.
According to the information and analytical report, the postponement is necessary to complete the work on the approval of the required documents for the technical regulation (standards, label forms), as well as the creation of an infrastructure for testing in accordance with the requirements of TR EAEU 048/2019.
