Changes to TR CU 008/2011 “On the safety of toys”
Decision of the EEC Council dated January 26, 2024 No. 5 established the use of schemes and procedures for certification of toys based on standard schemes approved by Decision of the EEC Council dated April 18, 2018 No. 44.
In connection with the changes, storage of a set of certification documents in electronic form and mandatory translation of foreign documents are now provided. Another important update: test results can be used for subsequent batches of similar products under scheme 3c within one year.
The decision comes into force on July 27, 2024.
