Project of amendments to Technical Regulation 009/2011 “On the safety of perfumery and cosmetic products”
Until the end of March 2022, amendments to the technical regulation “On the safety of perfumery and cosmetic products” (TR CU 009/2011) will be adopted.
It is planned to amend the following:
- the list of products covered by the regulation;
- supplement the document with new terms;
- introduce new requirements for toxicological indicators obtained on the basis of the analysis of the toxicological characteristics of ingredients;
- add requirements for intimate and oral hygiene products.
In addition, the changes will refer to the ban on the release of products in consumer packaging that has an external design (a set of graphic images and text) that is completely similar to the external design of food packaging.
It is also planned to introduce a 5-year validity period for state registration certificates (SGR) of products.
