Validity of previously issued state registration certificates has expired

On May 5, 2023, the validity period of state registration certificates issued under TR CU 009/2011 “On the safety of perfumery and cosmetic products” until May 5, 2020 inclusive, has expired. Therefore, for its sale from May 6, 2023, a new permit document must be issued.

On May 6, 2020, the amendments to TR CU 009/2011, introduced by Decision of the EEC Council 32 dated March 29, 2019, came into force. But certificates of state registration for cosmetics, which were affected by amendments to the technical regulations, remained valid for another three years (Decision of the EEC Board 112 of July 9, 2019). Please be reminded that according to TR CU 009/2011, certificates of state registration are issued for cosmetic products that can cause the greatest harm to health if the requirements are not met. This includes: children’s cosmetics, peels, depilation products, intimate cosmetics.
