New GOSTs for juices and drinks were put into effect from May 1, 2023
Starting May 1, 2023, the following two standards for the food industry came into force:
GOST R 70650-2023 “Plant-based drinks (from grains, nuts, coconut). General specifications”.
The standards will be useful to manufacturers in the preparation of technical documents with requirements for finished products.
It should be noted that juices and drinks are subject to several technical regulations:
o TR CU 021/2011 “On safety of food”;
o TR CU 022 / 2011 “Food products in terms of their labeling”;
o TR CU 023 / 2011 “Technical regulations for juice products from fruits and vegetables”.
Declaration is the main form of confirmation of compliance with them. For new products and juices for baby food, you need to issue a certificate of state registration (SGR).
