AMENDMENTS TO THE TECHNICAL REGULATION TR CU 010/2011
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is developing amendments to the technical regulation “On the safety of machinery and equipment” (TR CU 010/2011) regarding the inclusion of electronic means of individual mobility (EMIM – electric scooter, electric skateboard, gyro scooter, segway, unicycle) to the list of mandatory certification.
According to organizers of International Industry Conference of Micromobility, the state standard GOST R 70514-2022 “Electric means of individual mobility. Technical requirements and test methods” recently entered into force, can be included in the list of standards that ensure compliance with the requirements of TR CU 010/2011. For security purposes, requirements for EMIM will become mandatory, and manufacturers will be required to certify their products.
Pursuant to industry representatives, there are still no laboratories in the Russian Federation that can conduct research and have the equipment necessary for these purposes.
