From September 1, 2023, mandatory digital labeling of packaged water intended for children will commence in Russia.
Maintaining digital labeling of water for baby food is the next step in ensuring the traceability of products from production to consumer in the category of packaged water in order to bring order to the market, reduce falsification and counterfeit. According to Rospotrebnadzor, water for children in the country is produced by 27 legal entities that have experience with labeling system.
