New GOST standards will be effective from 01.08.2025
New standards for light industry products will come into force on August 1, 2025. Here are the links to the officially published texts:
GOST 35119-2024 “Lace on children’s clothing. Safety requirements”;
GOST 35096-2024 “School backpacks, rucksacks and school bags, leather goods for children and teenagers. Technical conditions”;
GOST 35099-2024 “Toys. Classification. Terms and definitions”;
GOST 32119-2024 “Products for newborns and children of the nursery group. General technical conditions”;
GOST 31407-2024 “Knitted underwear for newborns and toddlers. General specifications”;
GOST 31422-2024 “Knitted children’s outerwear. Standards of physical and hygienic indicators”;
GOST 30383-2024 “Knitted children’s underwear. Standards of physical and hygienic indicators”.
Light industry goods for children are subject to conformity assessment according to TR CU 007/2011 “On the safety of products intended for children and adolescents” before being released into circulation. It provides for state registration, certification and declaration for different product groups. Toys are subject to certification according to TR CU 008/2011 “On the safety of toys”.
